While I still owe you all a post detailing the rest of our weekend in VT (read about Part 1), I wanted to drop in today with a quick little “Two Thing’s Tuesday” Post.
- Owen went to see Santa on Sunday. The wonderful and talented Erin from Erin Marie Photography had him in her studio for photos. We went to her last year and knew we would be back again. She uses all the proceeds from the day to go towards Adopt a Family. I’d much rather give to a great charity like that than go see Santa at the mall, and her photos are SO good that I knew she’d be able to get a good photo of Owen even if he didn’t sit on Santa’s lap. Owen’s grandparents took him for the photos because it was while we were still making our way back from VT so it was torture waiting to see how the photos came out! We received our photos via email yesterday and he was just the cutest thing ever. My heart melts every time I see this kid, it really does.
- As I mentioned in my post last week I was chosen as a member of Team Betty for 2015. Betty Designs has the cutest and comfiest tri/run/swim gear around. My first time around I purchased the run tank, the tri top and the tri shorts. I’ve worn both the shorts and the run tank and am happy to report that they fit great and haven’t caused any chaffing issues yet (fingers crossed). I do find the sizing to run a little small so in the tri shorts and the run tank I ordered a large, while the tri top I ordered in a medium. For those of you who want to look stylish while kicking some butt out on the race course keep your eyes out here for special discount codes throughout the year.
